Isnt that a bit disrespectful to other teams

What are those pickems? For example Why Cant they use Chovy vs Knight which people always debates which one is better ? What will happen if Hle draws Geng , T1 draws Blg and gets eliminated at quarters so neither of them makes finals ? . For Faker kill number I think its fine bcs its just number but other narratives are kinda overforced .

T1-DK Post Match Interview

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Jud3y-RT9M

Q1: Overall thoughts on today’s victory?

Coach Tom: Overall, the players played really well today. Winning through a pattern that differs from our usual style is very encouraging for the team, so I am very pleased with today's victory.

Doran: I am satisfied that this win allows us to aim for even higher goals. However, looking at it objectively, there were still areas where we fell short, so we will need to address and improve upon them during the remaining time.

Q2: How did you approach playing against Dplus KIA?

Coach Tom: We were well aware that Dplus KIA is a team where Lucid tends to leave Siwoo to play independently while heavily investing resources into the bottom lane. Since Doran was also fully aware of this aspect, he was able to exploit and target that well.

Q3: What was the reasoning behind the draft adjustments, such as selecting Cassiopeia?

Coach Tom: While we felt we had many ways to play against Lucian-Milio, Cassiopeia has felt like an exceptionally strong pick from early through late game since our last match. Therefore, we adjusted our draft plan to select Cassiopeia.

Q4: Could you explain the decision-making during the critical dragon fight?

Doran: Since it was a fight over the 4th dragon, the importance of the dragon was extremely high. I made a quick split-second judgment that I needed to divide the opponent's formation. Although it could have turned out poorly, my teammates backed me up and cleaned up the fight well, which led to our victory.

Q5: What are your thoughts on using the Cho'Gath pick?

Coach Tom: Through our practice, we realized that Cho'Gath is very effective in game states where dragon stacks are secured quickly, allowing him to stack comfortably and snowball the game. We have practiced him extensively and will use him effectively whenever the situation arises.

Q6: What were the reasons behind the Syndra and Camille bans?

Coach Tom: Syndra was originally banned to secure our desired lane matchup, but as mid champions were heavily banned out as the set progressed, we saw no reason to give ShowMaker a champion he plays so well and enjoys. As for Camille, we banned her to shape the bottom lane matchup in our favor.

Q7: How do you plan to prepare for the upcoming rematch against Hanwha Life Esports?

Coach Tom: Since we suffered a disappointing loss in the previous match against HLE, we believe we can definitely win if we face them again. With one week left, rather than preparing anything overly complex, we will focus on honing our core strengths.

Q8: Any final message for the fans?

Coach Tom: Fans were likely disappointed by our reverse sweep loss against Hanwha Life Esports last time, so we will prepare thoroughly to win this time, advance to the finals, and capture the championship.

Doran: I will manage my condition well and prepare thoroughly during the remaining time to show a great performance next weekend

T1-HLE Post Match Interview

T1 Post Match Interview

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=\_OOzAhaR4hI

Q1: Overall thoughts on today's defeat?

Coach Tom: Today we fought a close series all the way to Game 5. I feel that we made many mistakes during the draft phase, which is something I deeply regret. I think we need to focus primarily on reviewing and addressing those draft issues moving forward.

Keria: Alongside the draft mistakes, there were also many regrets regarding our execution in-game. I believe the combination of those factors led to our loss in Game 5.

Q2: Could you elaborate on the draft mistakes you mentioned?

Coach Tom: Without going into too much detail, looking back at the games we lost, we selected team compositions that lacked early-game priority. This made it easier for the opponent to repeatedly force early skirmishes throughout those games.

Q3: How did you prepare for the match against Hanwha Life Esports?

Coach Tom: We view Hanwha Life Esports as a team with a playstyle directly contrasting ours. We felt they tend to play around and unlock their top lane heavily, so we focused our preparations around matching that aspect.

Q4: What specific game plans or draft choices did you focus on?

Coach Tom: As mentioned, we paid a lot of attention to the top side and the upper half of the map. We traded key picks—pairing Cassiopeia with Lucian and Milio—to draft according to our intended picture. However, we definitely need to re-evaluate and reconsider those draft setups.

Keria: Even if the draft is at a disadvantage, there are always moments in-game where we hold advantages or face tough situations. It's disappointing that we took heavy losses in disadvantaged states and failed to properly capitalize when we had the upper hand.

Q5: What were the thoughts on the bot lane match-up (Caitlyn & Karma)?

Tom: Against Caitlyn and Karma, the goal was to scale into late-game value while minimizing early losses. However, our composition lacked a solid frontline, which made the game state extremely difficult to play out.

Q6: What areas need the most improvement for the upcoming matches?

Coach Tom: When we are in a favorable position, we need to manage objectives better and prioritize securing side-lane / objective control.

Q7: Final words heading into the lower bracket?

Coach Tom: We have dropped down to the lower bracket. We will prepare thoroughly to ensure we win our next match and return with a much better performance.

Keria: It is very disappointing to lose today. Since we still have remaining matches in the lower bracket, we will prepare well and climb back up from the bottom.

Faker post game interview

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMcbINQmLds&t=14s

Q1: Congratulations on today's victory. You started the first playoff match with a win; could you share your thoughts on the victory and an overall review of today's match?

Faker: The first playoff match was much more difficult than I expected, but I'm very relieved that we were able to finish it with a win.

Q2: Today, Doran showed an impressive performance and was selected as POG. As a teammate, what do you think he did particularly well today?

Faker: Today, I think Doran drafted very well and executed his plays very effectively.

Q3: Game 5 had a Fearless draft, meaning many champions were locked, which led to interesting choices from both teams. Looking back, how satisfied are you with the draft results, and were there any unexpected picks like Soraka or Lissandra?

Faker: I think most of the picks fell within our expected range. When Lissandra was picked at the end, I thought it was a very exquisite choice, but our team coped with it well and let it flow smoothly, which led to a good result.

Q4: Could you briefly share what kind of conversations were had internally within the team when Lissandra was picked?

Faker: I don't think there were any specific discussions about Lissandra after she was picked.

Q5: You directly selected BFX as your opponent for the first round of the playoffs. Even though they are a lower bracket team, you probably expected them to be a sufficiently tricky opponent. Facing them today, was there anything that was more threatening or surprising than expected?

Faker: I thought the opponents were very well-organized, and their plays felt very much like they were moving as a cohesive unit.

Q6: It seems you unfortunately dropped Games 2 and 3. What kind of feedback was exchanged within the team?

Faker: In Games 2 and 3, I made a lot of absurd mistakes, so losing a lot of lane priority was the main cause of defeat. Apart from that, I think we need to review if there are any aspects of our draft we should look back on.

Q7: In your last regular season match, you mentioned that you would prepare well and return stronger in the playoffs than in the regular season, and today you started with a victory. Over the past week, what did you focus on refining the most, both individually and as a team?

Faker: I think we tried to focus a lot on condition management. Since the remaining time is short again, I think it's important to manage each individual's condition as well as possible.

Q8: I also remember you coldly evaluating yourself as having many shortcomings at that time. Do you feel those shortcomings were somewhat resolved in today's match?

Faker: I think there were definitely some regrettable parts today, but I believe things will be better again in the next match.

Q9: As the playoffs feature a Best-of-5 series with Fearless draft applied, champions and preparation seem to become much more important. What aspect is the team putting the most effort into?

Faker: At the team level, we are trying to align our team comp concepts and properly establish the overall framework of our compositions.

Q10: Is there anyone who usually takes the lead, like taking the initiative to pick champions first?

Faker: Most of the players tend to talk a lot about which picks would be better for their own lanes and for the overall composition, so the players and coaches are all working hard together to prepare.

Q11: I'm curious if you also actually practice with the Fearless draft format in scrims?

Faker: Yes, since we have to practice various picks, we are practicing in the Fearless format during our practice games as well.

Q12: This is a question we ask all the players: If you could play exactly one game with any retired pro player, who would you choose?

Faker: Hmm, then I would choose to play with Blank.

Q13: May I ask the reason why?

Faker: If I play a game with Blank again, I think it would be fun to reminisce about the old times.

Q14: Thank you. You've started with a victory in your first match; could you say a word to the fans cheering for you?

Faker: We won 3-2 today, but I will try my best to show a slightly better performance in the next match. Thank you.

Which was more impressive Faker's first three Worlds vs last three Worlds

In first three he was the best player coming to the tournament and won also he was the best player of 2013-2017 era. In last three worlds he wasn't the best player coming to tournament but stepped up in important series like 2023 JDG and 2024 BLG .

T1 Summer Splits and Worlds Qualifications

Can T1 qualify for Worlds this year ?

2023 : Cant even beat worst teams in LCK stepped up at playoffs

2024: Terrible split . Had to play last BO5 until the end

2025: Fine split but form dropped end of the split and almost lost to a bad DK Line-up

2026: Terrible Split and?

Its frustrating we are having same talk in same period of the year. But I am concerning even against the rise teams . Scout can carry games for NS or Raptor can win games for BFX with the help of kellin/taeyoon duo. On the other hand we couldnt find carrying lane except the botlane.

T1-KT Post Match Interview

https://youtu.be/Z9jOKssaaBg

Q1: Overall thoughts on today's 2–1 victory?

Coach Tom: Today we secured a hard-fought 2–1 victory. What meant the most to me was that the players executed our macro management very well in-game, so I’d like to place a lot of significance on that aspect. I’m really glad we were able to break the losing streak.

Oner: I'm also relieved that we snapped the losing streak. I definitely feel there were noticeable improvements in our macro play, which makes today meaningful. That said, there are still plenty of areas where we fall short, so if we can maintain and refine those aspects, I believe we can perform much better moving forward.

Q2: How did you prepare for the match against KT Rolster?

Coach Tom: KT is a team that invests heavily in mid-lane care while paying close attention to Dragon control. We focused our discussions and preparations mainly around countering those tendencies.

Q3: What was the thought process behind the Game 3 draft (Top Vayne & Rumble flex)?

Coach Tom: Initially, we picked Taliyah and Rumble and intended to see how things unfolded. But when KT locked in K'Sante as their third pick, the players suggested flexing Rumble and picking Top Vayne instead. We thought that was a solid idea, so we swapped the picks around. The players executed their individual roles and cleaned up the situations really well.

Q4: What are your thoughts on today's in-game execution, and what needs improvement?

Oner: Today's games were quite chaotic overall. Even so, throughout our practice and preparation, I felt our macro play was steadily improving day by day. However, there were a few instances today where the opponent played aggressively and we failed to respect the line when absorbing their pressure. That was about the extent of our shortcomings.

Coach Tom: Reviewing the games with the coaching staff and watching the entire map—both our team's and the opponent's movements—allowed us to clearly identify what we excel at and what we lack. I believe there is plenty of room for positive growth, and if we fix those issues, we can sustain much stronger results.

Q5: Final thoughts and mindset heading into the Hanwha Life Esports (HLE) match?

Coach Tom: HLE is undeniably a strong team. However, our team is getting back to the basics and continuously improving. We'll make sure to patch up the shortcomings seen today, win the match, and finish the regular season in 2nd place.

Oner: I view this entire phase as a growth process where we are steadily getting better. While it might not shine immediately, the more we play, the more confident we become. I believe we have what it takes to beat HLE, and we will prepare thoroughly to show a great performance in the playoffs and lock in 2nd place with our own hands.

T1-DK Post Match Interview

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DD-V1ApES0

Q1: Overall thoughts on the match?

Coach Tom: A lot of fans came out to support us today, so I feel very apologetic that we couldn't reward them with a victory. We will prepare well for the next match. Overall, in Game 2, I think we had advantageous points that we failed to capitalize on properly, leading to the loss. In Game 3, I think the composition was quite difficult to pilot.

Keria: Since today was Home Ground and there aren't many matches left, it feels very disappointing to lose.

Q2: What was the reason for Oner's substitution/starting role, and how was his performance today?

Coach Tom: The main reason was that Oner plays a central role in our teamfights and skirmishes. Regarding today's performance, I don't think it was particularly satisfying.

Q3: What was disappointing or missing in today's gameplay?

Keria: In Game 2, I think we had many opportunities to turn things around, but we kept taking losses in those situations, which made the game very tough and disappointing. In Game 3, while our draft got somewhat counter-picked, if we had played with more awareness of the opponent's setups, the outcome might have been different. We gave up plays too easily and fell behind badly.

Q4: What areas do you need to focus on going forward?

Coach Tom: I hope the things we discuss and prepare in advance translate well into our actual gameplay. Since that was lacking today, we'll focus heavily on feedback in those areas.

Closing Remarks:

Keria: It was an important match at Home Ground, and so many fans came out to support and expect a lot from us. I am very sorry that we showed a disappointing performance and lost. However, we have another Home Ground match on Sunday, so we will work hard to show a much better performance then.

What is the expectation for LCK Play-offs

Personaly , I would like to see T1 win LCK but Peyz and Keria are the only players that best in their role . So we might finish third if botlane dont end up carrying all games. Other players have to step up

T1 decision-making and shotcalling

So according to Tom , T1 tried Painter because of shotcalling issues which is understandable considering how we lost G2 and KC games despite having leads and baron . I wonder what happened Faker's decision making its not like he is losing lane or like that . But in teamfights or before teamfights he makes lots of mistakes which he didnt use to do .
