Taking off - supply teaching
Hello! I am starting my first day of supply teaching tomorrow and am nervous/excited!
I’m nervous though, because I need to take a day off to attend a wedding. How will it come off for me, a supply teacher, requesting a day off? It’s August 31st, (who has a wedding on a Monday?! Anyway)
What’s the best way I can ask admin? Am I stressing over nothing? Thank you!

Beetle found on my blackberry! Near Atlanta, GA
I picked these blackberries on Saturday morning and they have been in my fridge since! I was snacking today and I’m so glad I noticed this guy. Metallic green head and a gold body. His underside was very metallic as well!
I put him in my bushes outside but I’m so curious- what kind of beetle? And will he be okay after being in my fridge for days? Thank you!
