I’ve just received a Grand Seiko SBGX263 as a gift and noticed that the date was set incorrectly.

Without reading the official instructions first, I accidentally wound the crown clockwise instead of counter-clockwise when adjusting the hands. Could this have caused any damage to the movement?

I’ve also noticed that the second hand doesn’t appear to land exactly in the centre of the indices. I’m not sure if this is simply due to the viewing angle or if it’s something I should be concerned about.

Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated!
