i have to vent, ladies and gentlemen. just had an amazing ground phase on supremacy. score was like 90% to 100%. i mean every speeder and vehicle was being used, clones and droids genuinely everywhere, it was a bloodbath of a ground phase. it only had me excited to see how competitive ship would be and how many times we’ll have to go back down.
well unfortunately, about 6-7 guys on the enemy team remembered that their test levels were below hell, so they continue to immediately pull out droidekas to roll on points and pipe glitch with aerials. we lost that ship phase immediately.
this supremacy game had the writings on the wall to be a classic old school 2-3 hour supremacy match. teams were even as fuck. heroes (honestly) weren’t that good so they weren’t really a factor. just straight infantry. shit was immediately ruined by droideka rolling. it is the year 2026. a full decade has passed since launch. about 7 or so years since the release of droidekas. if you still have not found a good way to win supremacy without droideka rolling, i can only assume no one loves u enough to have just a little bit of pride or dignity. and it’s not even fully the fact that they droideka rolled.. that typa shit happens. it’s just the fact that it was such a good lobby.. such an even game.. like if u didn’t feel like playing that long why not just back out? you’re THAT bad at the game? i don’t know when i’ll ever find another lobby that was so evenly matched up like this one was.
