Just wanted to express my appreciation to someone that helped me.
Hi, I am a Singaporean. When I went to batam not long ago, my phone ran out of battery and I wasnt able to call a cab.
Not going to lie, I kind of panicked, since it was my first time going overseas solo, and I didnt know what to do, being stranded.
Didnt help that the sun was setting soon as well.
Thankfully, there was this tour bus uncle that used his own phone to call a grab for me. He was carrying many passengers but made them wait just so he could help me, and didnt leave until my grab came. He even let me use his charging cable connected in his vehicle.
So yes, he really helped me that day, and I appreciate him a lot for that. I hope he is doing well nowww.
Cant wait to explore the rest of Indonesia soon.
