Gentle reminder that senior dogs deserve extra grace and patience on the table ❤️

Had a sweet 14-year-old Golden mix on my table today. He couldn't stand for more than a couple of minutes at a time, so we did his bath and clip in short intervals with lots of floor breaks and hip support.

He didn't leave with a show-quality pattern haircut, but he left clean, comfortable, nail-trimmed, and happy.

Sometimes as groomers (or owners), it’s easy to focus on aesthetics, but for our senior pups, comfort > perfection every single time.

Shoutout to all the groomers taking extra time for the golden oldies out there. They hold such a special place in my heart!
