I'm 14 and underweight, should I buy 16oz gloves?
I was thinking about buying 10oz for bagwork and 16oz for sparring, but I'm not sure since gloves are expensive

I'm way underweight for my age and I'm about to start eating a bunch, so I'm scared there'll be danger if I'm ever sparring and my gloves hurt the other person (and also because gloves are expensive)
What I mean is like if your weight recommends 16oz gloves you instead use 12oz or below could it be dangerous
I’m trying my first month of Muay Thai, so I don’t need something really expensive. I’m scared that I’ll randomly give up on Muay Thai after spending a bunch of money on equipment so if something lasts me a few months it should be fine.
I could easily hit 100-130 on average before with a weighted beaded and non weighted, but now I keep tripping and I also can’t crossover anymore too, when I try to focus it also just has me tripping usually at 80-90, has this happened to anyone else? I don’t feel any leg pain either
The gym is Bazooka Kickboxing, I think they have active professional fighters and the owner was a glory kickboxing welterweight champion, the issue is how long it would take to go back and forth every day.
If anyone knows a good Muay Thai gym near the Richmond Hill/Vaughan/Markham area, please let me know!
I'm looking to learn MMA during this summer break, (and after this summer break too) I'm not sure if any of the gyms in my area have good coaches or a good reputation, so if anyone knows a good one near/in Richmond Hill, please let me know!

(And also to add extra weight to the jump rope)

I saw it's from crossrope and I saw people saying crossrope is a good brand, but I don't know a lot about jump ropes
I live in Richmond Hill (Canada) and theres a place near me called Spartan Striking Academy that teaches Muay Thai. But I'm not sure about training there, since the owner of the place (Michael Fitzpatrick) on the website says he has a very high win to loss ratio (like 96-12) and that hes a ten time world champion.
I can't find any sources on that, and the website also seems kinda pushy to get you to buy a class with the whole "(insert name) just booked a free trial!)"
I just want to know if its a good place to train, and if I'll even learn anything, if not, please give recommendations for other places! Thanks!
