Seated Shotput

I hope I'm in the right community for this question.

My son has the opportunity to participate in high school track and field this year. He is in a wheelchair and typically participated in Special Olympics, but the track coach learned of the wheelchair division in our state.

One of the events he can participate in is the seated shotput. I've seen places where you can purchase the seat, but it seems like it could be something easily built by someone who knows how to weld.

For those familiar, what have you seen done in this regard?

Option Play

I bought a call and a put on SPY back in mid-April. 700 strike price, 7/31 expiration. As you can see in the image, it's returned over 30%. My strategy is to limit down side while expanding upside gains. So, if the S&P 500 went down 10% in that time frame, I'd only be down 5% at expiration. But if it went up 10%, I may be up 12-14%. If up 20%, the gain spread increases even more. But, the risk is if the market is stagnant, I lose the 5% on the option premiums.

I'm debating on whether to sell them and repurchase at the current FMV (752ish) with an even longer expiration period (was 3.5 months, looking to expand to 4-5 months). 32% in 45 days is pretty darn good, but this is only 6-7% of my portfolio.

I appreciate thoughts on this. Thanks!
