My first piece is an unclassified NWA. Good cheap way to start. Can anyone give a quick lesson or tips on how to get a general idea on the classification of this meteorite? I do know a lot of experienced collectors and hunters can pretty much tell from the tiny broken spots or even the fusion crust.
I have been interested in meteorites for a solid 4-5 years now and is fortunate to have some finance to collect a few specimens. But nothing like finding one on my own. I am currently located in SW Oklahoma. Just wondering if there’s any meteorite hunters around this area or if anyone know of any good spots around here that I can go metal detecting for meteorites. I recently got admitted to a pretty top tier University in China and Asia. I was just wondering as a foreigner if you finish college there what comes next? Is there good job offer or good outlook for us? I am trying to justify going to study there and also planning a little about my future. So my status is showing this “final results unreleased” and also I got a letter saying it’s a certificate for future scholarship application use. Does this basically mean I am accepted and just waiting for official letter or I am just still daydreaming at the moment?
For the experienced individuals and doctors, eye doctors here. I’m 20M and a none smoker. For context, I switched a job in January so it’s been around 4 months so far. But the issue about my eyes have been around for a month now. I have visible blood vessels coming up in my eyes and when I wake up in the morning it’s usually a lot dryer. I do have some light sensitivity and some blurry vision too I want to say. I have around 8hrs a day computer time from my job and around 4hrs on my iPad and iPhone but I’m not sure if that’s the cause or the only cause. Doctor tested my eye pressure and it showed healthy and my vision was okay with nothing significant decline. He had me press on my eyebrows and cheekbones and there was no pain or pressure. Please help and give me some advice! Thank you!
So I’m based in US and I have a budget of $3k and I would like to go on a 5 days 4 nights trip preferably luxury trip. I do prefer good ocean beach vibes that aren’t crowded with fellow tourists. But other get away destinations are great too. Just want some options and advices on where to go and if anyone here got experience on a short get away luxury trip. I do want to go in summer so probably June/July/August.

A friend of mine has a trust fund that he now has access of and it has close to 7 figures in it. Everyone calls him the trust fund kid, that trust fund kid, spoon fed all of that. But honestly in everyday life is that even a trust fund? Feel like when I see trust fund online and in movies it’s always multi million dollars…
I feel like the stock market nowadays is just little by little lengthening the gap between the rich and poor. The rich getting compound interest on their 6,7,8 figure stock portfolio while the rest of Americans living pay check to paycheck maybe squeeze out $200 a month to invest for retirement.
From the articles I see and questions asked, I do feel like almost all foreigners from all over the world living in China long term might be on Reddit. Is Reddit actually the biggest community for foreigners to connect in China?
Moved out and been working for 2 years now finally. As a single person I managed to save a few thousand with no debt. Is it normal that I feel like I’m wealthy? It’s just that feeling of freedom on my own with no obligations no debt and really just not giving a fuck anymore. And lately I just been looking around to see what I can do with the money, it can be a vacation, investing, trading, reselling. Just asking people that have been working for quite a while how was it for you when you first hit a few K? Is this feeling or attitude normal?
