Anyone in Canberra keen to start a super casual adult chess group?

Not talking about serious club stuff with clocks, notation sheets, and people treating every move like it’s the World Championship final. That’s fine if you’re training for something, but it’s not the vibe here.

Looking for a relaxed group: play a few games, have a drink, sit in a café or bar, and actually talk like normal humans while moving pieces around. Low pressure, social first, chess second.

No obsession with ratings, no hardcore competition focus. Just decent games, meeting people, and keeping it easy.
