Is a loofah too harsh to use on KP? Is there a better alternative to a loofah?

Hi this is my first post, I'm 18, been dealing with KP my whole life, going to college soon hoping to minimize my KP. I notice when i shave my arms that the KP gets a bit better, does anyone have insight in how laser on arms and/or legs effects KP?
