Bestquote MedEC health insurance

Hello!

I’m looking to get the bestquote MEDEC insurance that’s around roughly 600$ CAD for a year, it’s around 300$ cheaper than what true traveller is offering but i’m wondering if anyone has previously used their insurance would recommend. I’m from sweden if that information is relevant

Return ticket

Hello

I would like to book a return ticket as one way is way more expensive for me. Unfortunately no airlines offer a full year round trip so im wondering if i were to book a return flight that shows as 6-7 months from arrival or even less than that, could that have any effect on my work permit?

Scanned documents

Do your passport, national identity document and police certificate all need to be scanned copies or are you not allowed to take pictures with your smartphone of these documents?

Thanks

Residency requirement

I am a swedish citizen currently applying for working holiday visa and I currently am living in sweden with a registered address fulfilling the requirement as of now. Sweden requires you to report if you plan to stay outside of the country for a year or more which removes your registered address.

I wanted to do two years in canada by getting an employee to sponsor me and being able to do the young professionals visa while staying in canada and ordering the permit online but since doing this requires to you to apply all over again and then enter your address again.

Essentially does this make it impossible to do this while still residing within canada and requires you to fly back to sweden, aquire another registered address and then apply but you also need an employer to sponsor you which is probably significantly easier to do when you are in person working in canada so i feel like the system is kinda screwed in this sense but i’d love if anyone knowledgeable could help me with this !

Digital photo requirements

Hello, i’m wondering how strict they are on approving these photos?

Simply put, could i take a selfie with my back towards a white wall and edit it to fit the criteria or even use an ai software like this one

https://photoaid.com/canada-visa-photo?srsltid=AfmBOoptPoU4k-0mSFYAtzrf7dg8-mLcjJGFuSW7Q6J2eSLtYlpIzUe1

Or am i required to get this photo professionally taken by a photographer

It would really suck having your application be denied because of something like this

Thanks
