Just started watching and…wtf?
So I JUST finished Game of Thrones (for the first time) and I was so pumped about getting into HOTD. I’m currently on S1 E6 - they’ve just time-jumped and I swear I can’t even get through the episode it’s so inane.
Why did Criston kill someone out of rage at a WEDDING and get no hate?
Why are they not explaining WHY TFFFFF Rhaenyea is suddenly having kids with Harwin??? Like he wasn’t even being built up as a relevant character and then they time skip and he’s everywhere in this episode???
I see the story telling benefit of the time skip but if you’re going to skip time then it HAS to be with characters you’ve been building up because now I’m not rooting for anymore, like what’s even going on?
I think this entire show feels like just a weird high-school drama with loads of he said - she said lol, they’re constantly talking about the heir and there’s like not much else going on
I’m debating if should continue or not, no idea if this get better but currently I’m just so annoyed at these dumb plot issues
