Feel a little lost in my journey.
Its not a big deal. I have a business doing nearly 1m in revenue and have been thinking about selling.
I'm not the best businessman tbh. I did start this, and I did build it from the ground up... but now a 40 after having poured 10 years into the thing, and finding the growth stagnant, and losing some contracts to competitors... I am feeling a little tired, a little defeated...
I have a 1m mortgage. I believe I can get 1m for this business. some debts, some taxes, I'd still be let with some mortgage..
The question is, then what... I cant retire. All I would have is a paid off house.
Chat Lengths; FFS WHY!?
Do you realize how frustrating it is, and detrimental to a big project it is, that we have to handover the instructions to a new chat because we hit the end of a determined chat length?
That is just ANNOYING. Its almost as if they want to force the drift.
OpenAI npm ci mirror down?
Wont build my package because packages.applied-caas-gateway1.internal.api.openai.org is down. I tried pinging the DNS, no pings returned.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Alright... what's going on? GPT Performance regression
In the last 72 hours I feel as if I've noticed a shift in the way GPT 5.6sol is responding, even on High or Pro Intelligence.
It deviates from tasks a lot more now, provides responses that are lacking somewhat from its previous state and the voice personality went from a very decent personality back to hyper happy sycophancy with long tail answers.
Its not even remembering some context in our own chat.
For example; i had one become a senior developer to put together a program for me.
After a while, it started giving me outputs to "give to the builder". When I would remind it that it is the builder, it builds something worse than before.
I think the worst part of it all is, the voice personality is gone. Now it feels like im talking to an idiot.
It was said by Labor that Data Centers will have to "Produce their own energy"
Though, some are saying they may eat up 1GW. Not sure if that's per year or month or week...
My question is more; if these guys are so good at producing that much energy, why not just run our grids?
Does anyone know how the energy is going to be produced?
Business Workspace quality noticeably worse than personal account
I have to say, I paid more for OpenAI with a higher plan and I feel as if I've been given a GPT that is noticeably worse.
Firstly, it migrated all my chats. Well, all of them, except the most important one with my main project files inside.
Then, I noticed GPT voice went from the blunt, direct, helpful voice with the low tone, back to the sycophancy idiot that has long tails on the end of each response.
Now, trying to get my project back on track, its apparently too much load for GPT to handle, so prompts are freezing and its asking me to try a "faster model".
As well as all that; the performance is noticeably poorer. Requests are lagging and saying "Taking longer than usual", where-as on my personal space, it was perfectly fine for complex tasks.
What's happened?

OpenAI scans eSafety Office website after every prompt
So now eSafety Karen has infultrated* AI too? Referencing our prompts to make sure it falls within "safe limits".
This has to be the most oppressive Government in History. This is just the icing on the cake
(edit: I dont actually believe its the most oppressive in HISTORY. That wouldn't be factual. Post was more emotional than logical)
