One handed shooting - Tips

Hello fellow shooters! I figured I'd swap out the longer barrel and carbine stock to switch the CP2 back into pistol mode, for a change. Since I don't really have any prior experience with 10-meter air pistol shooting—one-handed, as tradition dictates—do you have any tips?
To start off, I’d practice at 10 meters, and later move on to 15 and 20 meters, just for fun. What kind of realistic results can I expect in terms of group sizes (I know scores are usually measured in points) at those distances?
If any of you have ever measured groups with actual competition match pistols, even better—just so I can compare it to my hobby-target pistol CP2 😁

CP2 Classic Sporter

A new walnut stock for my CP2. The idea was to merge classic sporting rifle and fine air rifle stock styles. Some details are still to be worked on but generally its done. What do you guys think? The balance is on point, 2 cm behind the trigger and the comb height is perfect for the current scope I’m using for this build. Offhand shooting is much easier now as the rifle is more stable in the shoulder.

Work in progress (CP2)

My American walnut stock for CP2, still in early shaping phase. The idea is to achieve the look that merges fine air rifle and classic sporting rifle stock styles. I’ll post again when I’m done 😁

Has anyone actually tried and tested this? I got an idea for a heated CO2 tube-housing for the cartridge-ampule. I tried it out on my CP2 carbine, here are the results:

With cheap Aliexpress handlebar heaters (10W) wrapped around the tube, one around the other, and running off of a 2.0 A output powerbank, with thermostat setting of 55 degrees (I doubt that it achieves nearly that much) and after a good 30 mins to let the heat soak into all parts of the barreled action I took out the co2 ampule and it was little bit warmer than my body temperature, so I guess 38-39 degrees C. I left it at the same setting for another 30 mins to be sure it doesn’t creep up more and I got sure that was in fact stable at that same temperature. I will test out how the gun performs when I figure out how to pack it all into a stock as neatly as I can! Any thoughts or ideas?

A 6-shot group I made during a short morning session with my CP2 in carbine form. It is paired with an original 1943 production soviet 3.5x PU scope and shot while resting on a microphone tripod.

Shot with JSB Exact 8.44 gr 4.52 mm pellets.

I’m very satisfied with the results! 😁

P.S

The bottom most hole is from earlier zeroing session, not a part of the group!
