A Moment Of Peace

Nelson in the 90's

Wayne Edward Harold King 1934-2015

"Wayne E. King was a Kootenay artist and elder based in Nelson, British Columbia, known for his prolific work in landscape paintings, visionary art, and woodcuts. He passed away on June 14, 2015, leaving a legacy as a bohemian philosopher and the "unofficial artist-laureate" of Nelson's Baker Street."

King’s art blended Impressionist, Surrealist, and Hippie Modernist influences, often featuring aphorisms and spiritual themes. His community impact was profound, with friends describing him as a yogi who elevated consciousness and celebrated the beauty of the region. A retrospective exhibition curated by Arin Fay was held at the Touchstones Nelson Museum to honor his work, which included over 120 donated pieces."

Part of an interview that Dustin “Sunflower” Cantwell recorded with Wayne E. King in 2006. Dustin played this on is radio show, Fane of the Cosmos, which aired on June 15th, 2015

KDEconnect isssues with Dolphin

Hello. From searching this seems like a longtime issue. I've been working on it for days. Dolphin cannot connect to my Samsung phone. Kdeconnect says its connected but i constantly get the error "unable to create kio worker. Unknown protocol. I can use the phones kdeconnect to send files to my computer but i cannot browse my phone from the computer no matter what i do. I have kio extra installed as well as sshfs. Any advice or help welcome. Again, i'am trying to access my phones files via Dolphin (or any other way). I aslo tried USB tethering which also did'nt work in Dolphin.

Thanks in advance

Question about upgrading to tomorrows KDE 6.7 realease

Hello. I'm on Vanilla Arch LTS and i'm curious about tomorrows KDE release. I'm currently on KDE plasma 6.65 and was curious if I can safely upgrade to KDE 6.7 without issue. I've read conflicting info whether Arch LTS can do that upgrade. Any advice or comments welcome.

Thanks. In advance
