Is there a phonetic difference between ँँ (chandrabinoo) and ं(bindu). They seem to be playing the same role in the words जहाँ and लड़कों, that is, both of them are nasalising the preceding vowel. Although in the word रंग the bindu is making a consonant sound.

How to quit social media without losing it's benefits?

I know some people think that social media is completely useless and should be avoided at all costs, but I personally don't believe that this is the case. For example, I would never have discovered the Waking Up app (an awesome meditation app) if I wasn't on social media. So is there a way to completely quit social media without losing these upsides?
