my tribute to the Impala

Hey guys, I’m loving the car culture around the lowriders, especially the 64 impala. I am also a tinkerer. So as a tribute to that, some years ago I started a project for a 3d printed lowrider. Struggled a little and took it aside. This year I opened the old files and it was like a reveal. So I made this little ride, and wanted to share it with you.

What do you think? Is it worth to go further on this project?

How to convert TikTok views into Kickstarter followers?

Hi everyone,

I'm planning a Kickstarter campaign and am currently preparing for it. Since I've read a lot about it, I'm focusing on the pre-launch phase and building a mailing list.

From what I've read here on this subreddit, the most valuable followers are those who already follow the project on Kickstarter. It's not the same as a mailing list. However, I'm still struggling with both.

I have a physical product that is visually appealing and presents very well on TikTok. People react positively across the board. What I'm wondering, however, is how to convert these views and reactions, sometimes even explicit purchase intent, into Kickstarter followers or subscribers.

I even have the feeling that people lose interest as soon as they hear the word Kickstarter. In any case, my website visits are significantly lower than I would expect based on the number of views my TikTok videos have already received.

I currently have around 300 followers on TikTok, which isn't much, and I'm working on growing that.

At this point, I'm even thinking that it might make more sense to target people who are already active on Kickstarter. The question is: how do I reach them? Would that be through Google ads, Facebook ads, or something else?

And one more question: would you recommend already showing tiers and prices on the pre-launch page? At the moment, I just have a simple message and an image there. Should I think of it more as a second campaign page?
