Hello!

I've been reading the rules while waiting for my starter set to arrive and I have a question. When shooting with a weapon that has the melee keyword you move the shooting model into base contact with the target before any dice are thrown. I can't find any rules that forbid the target from shooting back as a reaction using its regular ranged weapon, so I assume it's allowed. Is that correct? I think i read/heard somewhere that you can only shoot back with a weapon that has the melee keyword but I can't find that info again.

I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could clear this up for me. Thanks!
