damage to the game board

I’ve had the game for four months and played about ten matches; I always keep it in the box and handle it with care, yet the corners and edges have turned white, and in some spots, the cardboard is lifting slightly from the rest of the board. Is this normal—am I worrying over nothing—or is there a problem, and if so, how can it be fixed?

Is an expansion or 2 fighters kit better?

Hi there. I wanted to ask which of these two options would be the best choice. I'm fairly new to Root and only own The Riverfolk Company expansion; now I have the chance to get either two new expansions (The Marauder Expansion and The Underworld Expansion, Homeland is not yet available in my language), or one expansion plus the two fighters kit.

I almost always play with three players, and rarely with four. Which choice would be best for my gaming group?
