I’ve been noticing that many (if not most) fencers remove their foam inserts from their AP Lights, both for the 350N and 800N versions, wearing a chest protector underneath instead. Even for steel longsword.
I’d like to know your thoughts on it, if you own an AP Light, do you “defoam” it? Do you wear a chest protector? Or something else entirely?
