I want to play Zelda Skyward Sword on Dolphin Android, but using motion controls is awkward. Is there any way to play it without them?

I've seen several YouTube videos where they seem to use a normal controller on the virtual screen, but it doesn't seem to work with modern versions of Dolphin.
