Single adult household, no pets, no excessive staining, just gym clothes and some cooking odors.
Current setup:
- Tide Clean & Gentle powder
- STPP (very hard water)
- Downy Rinse
- Looking at buying an enzymatic sprays for collar stains (any recommendations?)
I’m starting to run low on the Clean & Gentle powder I bought to start out since I moved to my apartment, and I’m looking to refill my laundry detergent. I don’t mind scents, so I’m considering the Tide Ultra Oxi powder as an all-in-one solution, but seeing that there’s a restock on the Tide Free & Gentle ~~Odor Refresh~~ Advanced Care at Costco, I’m considering giving that a try, paired with FEBU laundry booster. Which option would you consider to keep my setup nice and easy? Availability at Costco is a huge plus (Kirkland gang, rise up!)
I started head and face shaving in the shower and it has been a bliss. My current routine is:
- Pre-shave: Cremo
- Lather: Cella
- Razor: Vintage Superspeed
- Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (although I’m revisiting Feathers and they are going strong and tugging less on my face/neck)
One pass WTG + XTG on my scalp, easy WTG on my face/neck. Baby smooth and almost no nicks!
The one thing about shower shaving is that I’m chewing through my Cella tub. Any tips to preserve my soaps? I believe the humid environment makes it much easier for the soap to be consumed.
