Sky looked cool

No filter needed! Noticed how cool the sky looked when I parked at the grocery store today and had to snap a picture. Should’ve gotten back in my car and posed it better in the back of the parking lot. Oh well!

Headlight suggestions

Recently traded a 2019 challenger for a 2022 charger rt. First night drive tonight and instantly missed the HID headlights from my challenger. Any suggestions on LEDs? Or can I swap the whole assembly for something HID? I do like that the DRLs in the 2022 models turn into the turn signal, rather than having a seperate turn signal, and don’t really want to lose that with swapping out the whole assembly. My pet peeve is seeing a Camry with LED swapped lights that flicker all day long, and if I swap to LED and that happens I may total the car on purpose. I need some help!

Underwhelmed by RT Test Drive

So a little background. Previous car was a 2014 SXT, ran it up to 198,000 miles before I sold it. Then i bought a Challenger GT, which I still own for the last 20,000 miles. I have always thought I should have gotten a V8 (bought the GT for AWD, really harsh winters where I’m at), so I went today to test drive a 2023 RT charger.

First impressions were that the car sounded awesome (almost bought it just for that reason), but it felt very heavy and cumbersome, much more so than my challenger. I assume the extra 2 cylinders and 2 doors add a good amount of weight. I also felt it was far less fun to drive from 0-40 mph (I don’t street race, didn’t even take it to the highway) and I felt the v6 was punchier on the bottom end of the spectrum.

Ultimately walked away feeling slightly underwhelmed. My GT has better options (leather suede seats, performance pages, etc) so I’m going to drive a better optioned version of the RT Saturday. Maybe I just built the car up so much in my mind that nothing could live up to the hype.

Any other v6 drivers felt the same way when they made the switch? Is it because I’m going from challenger to charger? Or am I just crazy?
