Finally got my dream car!!

Finally got my dream car!!

2020 Redeye Widebody. I've been dreaming of owning one of these for a while and found a pretty solid deal for one at $55k with only 1 owner. Needless to say, I'm in love with this thing 😍😍

21 SXT with a fresh tint

Absolutely love this car as my daily. 18 months in and really drives like a dream. After deciding i like it enough to have for a few years, I upgraded mid mufflers, gave it some sunglasses and Michelin pilot all seasons. Around 50k miles, will probably get to around 75k and then go for a blacktop RT or scat for the right price.

Sharing is caring

Hey fellow challenger owners/lovers! Wanted to share my 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT392. She has 170,500 miles and still purrs like a lion in the Serengeti waiting to mate. There will always be those who hate on Dodge, saying their engines and transmissions suck, but properly maintained any car can last. So here she is warming up my coffee. Have a great day.

Challenger owner what are doing for theft protection?

Picked up the car and now I'm already reading way too much theft threads. I don't want to go overboard with security, trying to figure out what works on these cars. A lot of the theft stuff I've been reading about involves getting around the factory electronics, so I've been looking at hidden setups that require a separate PIN before the car will move. Anyone here using something like that on a Challenger? Does it change anything about normal use or do you basically use the car like usual and enter the code before driving?

Change your transmission fluid

Just changed the trans fluid on my 2016 SXT+, despite only have 53k miles on it, I did the diff fluid at 50k and just did it's first trans fluid. After putting on a Doorman replacement part that has a removable filter in the pan and using the OEM Mopar 8 and 9 speed atf, the car shifts like butter and no longer has a clunk when shifting from park to reverse or drive when you first start up your car.

Let me repeat this, if your car (like mine) has a bit of a clunk from park to reverse or drive, change the trans fluid (and hopefully the filter too) and it's much smoother.

Hit 100k and still going strong

Bought 2 years ago at 74k…I make a point to take good care of it as my first car and I bought it on my own, and I’ve loved every second. No tickets, no crashes, just fun and good vibes, I don’t know how I’ll ever move on from this car. Maybe one day I’ll move on to a v8 but as a college student I don’t think I need anything more right now.

Took the Scat Pack for a cruise

Got bored as fuck and irritated today after dealing with no shit seven different homeowners insurance companies trying to get shit set up for a property I’m buying that is in the fire zones in eastern WA. Took half the fucking day, but finally got it done and set up, so I said fuck it and hoped in the car just to go cruise and clear my head. After about half an hour on open back country farm roads and just having fun with the car and going through the performance settings, and messing with the track settings and holy fuck I’m in love with this fucking car man! Best purchase in a long ass time lol. I ended up driving up into Leavenworth and just enjoyed the rest of the day. Even with it being hot as fuck and Smokey out, I had a good time, enjoyed my day, got over the stress and bullshit of the morning just got home in a great mood!!

Old school cool?

Y'all have any ideas on how to make my 2014 sxt look more like a classic 70s? Retro body kits, grills, loavers, and all that? Preferably sharper body lines, aggressive restomod looking, y'know?

Has this happened to anyone else?

Car will randomly show the Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) warning light and I lose power and I can’t press the gas pedal anymore. When I turn it off and turn it back on it stutters like in the video. I have to wait a few minutes before it turns on again. Any advice would be appreciated 🙏🙏

iPhone 15 pro max CarPlay doesnt work?

Hi everyone, I used to have an iPhone 11 (lightning port) that I would plug into the center console usb ports for CarPlay and it worked perfectly fine the two years I had the car. A couple months ago, I bought an iPhone 15 pro max (usb c) and it will not work with CarPlay. Occasionally it will work but the second I hit a bump or touch the cord it disconnects and doesn’t come back on. I’ve reset the radio, pulled ever fuses related to the radio and usb power, I’ve replaced the fuses, and it still doesn’t work. I’ve tried multiple different cables ranging from official Apple usb->usb c to other brands and tried adapters to make them work but nothing has worked, it’s like the car can’t supply enough power for a usb c device. I never had any problems with the old iPhone, and I know it’s not a problem with the new iPhone. Any help would be appreciated as I made sure when I bought the car it had CarPlay so it’s frustrating not being able to use it on my new phone. Thank you

Wheel well liner push pins

Hit a curb in my T/A 392 a while ago, some push pins snapped, liner under the splitter hangs a little. Can’t find replacement pins that fit right, could anyone point me in a proper direction.

$15,000 for a 78k mile clean 2010 r/t auto - is this a good deal?

Considering buying this. Tried to cut away as much of the dealer name from the photo I could.

I know it's no srt8 or manual, but is it worth it? 15k seems cheap no? Just 1 owner, no accidents.

The fact that it’s a dealer that has it and nobody bought it yet makes me hesitate.

My B5 Hellcat

Had a previous post on this car but I keep deleting the posts for whatever reason. Anyway video in comments with build list..

Edit: More coming this winter. Fuel pump upgrades, valve covers, clutch upgrade, suspension, tires/rims.. still haven't even tinted the windows on this beast yet.

Best Spoiler?

What is everyone’s opinion on the best looking spoiler for these beasts?

I really like the newer Redeye style, but figured I’d see what others think too and maybe get a new idea for myself.

Also, where do you recommend purchasing one?

Thanks in advance!

Back into Mopar after 5 years away… 392 Widebody!

5 years after selling my Scat Pack Charger, I’m back with an upgrade. In 2021 I was forced to move to a more fuel efficient vehicle after changing jobs and losing my company car and gas card. So, I went to a Tesla and loved it (Still own an EV for daily driving and family use, Audi RS E-Tron GT). Last year I got a C7 Corvette for the “fun” V8 and had a blast with it, however… the area I’m in and the driving I normally do did not allow me to rev out the high RPM Corvette. So, 80-90% of the time, I was in a high RPM horsepower and handling monster that I couldn’t open up at all. To top it off, my AOO has terrible roads and the C7 had several bent rims and 2 blown shocks from the stiff and low suspension not playing well with our Texas roads.

Started Mopar searching last month and finally pulled the trigger last week. Got slightly more than I paid for the C7 (minus mods 😢) to move to a 2020 Challenger 392 Widebody. Single owner, 21,000 miles, garage kept and MINT condition. I looked at several Cats as well, but couldn’t justify another 30k for a supercharger I, once again, can’t use very often. The low end grunt of the 392 is glorious and I instantly remembered why I loved Mopar so much before. Can’t wait to start modding the car and getting a little more power out of it, but man this thing is amazing around town. Feels faster than the C7 just due to the torque curve, even though it most definitely is not faster.

Planning on powder coating the wheels, darker tint this week, and some bolt on mods/e85 flex fuel kit soon. LTH/Cam will be happening by years end as well! #moparornocar
