Title. Looking for 2TB SAS-NL (SATA works too, I suppose) HDDs that are healthy. Have had bad luck on eBay with some drives lately and I'm tired of returning drives that are sold as "tested, working."

Hi! This is my first ever missing mail incident. I am the receiver.
I ordered something May 1. USPS received the parcel on the 2nd. It had a delivery window of May 5-9. I first suspected that there was an issue with this piece of mail on May 6, when it was scanned in my city the night before, May 5, but not sent out for delivery the next day. Mail tends to process quick here, and if something gets in at night, chances are it goes out for delivery the next day. I track my mail obsessively..
May 6, I wait all day for an update and I see nothing.
May 7 (yesterday), I wake up and no more scans/movements. So I called USPS customer service and ask them to start an inquiry into the shipment. Great, they started that, but it’s the weekend and I won’t hear until at least Monday.
In my mail yesterday, I received a Package Search Request along with the shipping label of the package cut out from the box and packed into an envelope. It’s too late to go to the post office, so I decided I will go Saturday (today).
I enter the post office and ask the lady at the front desk for some help regarding this shipment.
I explain that I received a letter from the Des Moines NDC along with the shipping label cut off of the box. I then show her the tracking history, showing that has been in town for 3 days now, and she immediately says “no, it’s not.” I asked her what she meant, and she explained that, “the tracking system updates according to where the system thinks the package should be for ‘customer satisfaction’ regardless of physical scans.”
I was kind of surprised by what she said, and kind of questioned if that was true. So I asked her, “is the system lying?” and she said again that no it’s not lying it’s for customer satisfaction. That upset me, because if what she’s saying is true, then the system is lying. She then insisted it was for customer satisfaction. I then explained to her that I had called ASK-USPS and the woman on the phone told me that the package was scanned locally and that checks out with the tracking information. The lady finally admits that “Yes the system is lying.” So I respond with, “so you are telling me that the tracking system and the ASK-USPS representative both lied about the location of my package?” and she replied “Yes.”
Is it true that the system will “guess” or just straight up LIE about package scans?
