Was recently gifted this beautiful very old Gibson dobro (I think I have this right)
It was passed down a couple generations from my grandfather in Italy in the 1950s or 1960s. Any help identifying the year or the type would be helpful. Also any help with playing and especially tuning would be helpful. It hasn’t been played in years, tried standard tuning and sounded a little off. Not sure if it should be open E or something else.
