Hi! I'm an incoming college freshman and my roommate and I are planning our dorm right now. We have a bit of an oddly shaped room and are trying to figure out the best layout so we can both have nice spaces.

My school has two proposed layouts but we can move stuff wherever we want. The biggest issue to me is bed placement because both layouts feel like they'd produce awkward energy (facing each other in the first and no headboard for the second).

We're just looking for any ideas or things to keep in mind as we plan the space. Please feel free to ask any more questions. Thank you!
