Have Dehydrated Meals Killed Campfire Culture?experience? for hiking enthusiast

Hello everyone, I’m a design engineer and hiking enthusiast. I’ve noticed that since campfires are often restricted now, something important feels lost. Campfires used to naturally bring people together, but today with quick dehydrated meals and cold nights, people often eat fast and go straight into their tents.

I’m exploring how design could recreate that feeling of gathering and connection without fire. Do you feel this too? Any thoughts or experiences would really help.
