I have my anatomy scan in 48 hours and I’m SO EXCITED to find out our baby’s sex!! Most people I spoke to said the tech told them, but my midwife scared me that she has heard of techs not saying anything and making people wait longer for the report.
So, if you’re in B.C., and especially on Vancouver Island - did your tech tell you the sex during the scan?
I FINALLY just did the second part of my SIPS test today and frankly am pretty frustrated that this is the test that is covered in BC. It is so slow. I am 16 weeks pregnant and have heard varying things about when results will come in from “a few business days” to “a few weeks.” Thinking about not getting results until I’m 19 or 20 weeks pregnant is stressful. So, for any of you that have done the SIPS through LifeLabs, how long until your results came in? And if you had to do NIPT or amino after that, how long did that process take? Just want to prepare myself mentally. Thanks!
