RAF Deployments : What are they like?

Joining Royal Air Force in September.

Looking for honest deployment experiences from serving personnel.

—What does a normal day look like on deployment( as an avionic tech ideally as that’s what I’m applying for)
—How long deployments usually last
—Hardest part of being deployed
—Best part of being deployed
—Do deployments feel worth it overall
—Do you get to actually see the country or strictly just working all the time

B2 Licence?

Hi all , I’m thinking of joining the RAF as an avionic technician, get about 4/5 years of engineering and military experience, moving into civil airlines e.g Ryanair or British Airways for 1/2 years and then hopefully move abroad to maybe somewhere like Australia or Malaysia if all goes right.

However, I’ve seen you need a EASA Part-66 B2 licence typically to work abroad. So out of curiosity, I was wondering if anyone knew whether the civil airlines or even the RAF would sponsor you for this licence or not.

Petty argument incoming..

We went to the Full Moon Party together in Thailand.

He left a bar he said he did not mind to go into without telling me and went to the busy beach, but admitted it wasn’t his music.

He did not ask me to come with him as he did not want to walk through the crowd of people in the bar.

He claims I ditched him as I went off dancing into the middle of the club , whilst he stood at the back.

So I try my best to find him again but the beach is too busy.

I call him a “gimp” as I thought he just left me, messaging me “im off”

Then he claims to cancel a 5 day non refundable villa on the night to “learn respect” , then turns out he only said what he said to make me “shut up” , which probably did the opposite.
