Is a spring roll a sandwich?
How about a burrito or an egg roll? Basically, any food where the bread wraps all the way around the filling. Is it still a sandwich?

As simple as that
In almost every public restroom at a store/restaurant, there's usually a sign saying employees must wash hands yada yada... my question is, do employees even have to actually follow this rule?
Its not like they can install camers in the bathrooms to check if you do, and what kind of punishment would they give if you're caught not washing your hands?
just curious
Can anyone explain why people cover their baby’s faces in pictures? In theory I get the whole privacy thing but realistically, they all kind of look the same?
I’ve asked my family and close friends this but they’re the “are you high? Lmao” kinda people just because i wanna have interesting conversations and questions so im hoping for a detailed scientific answer. But like when you play a song or movie or anything in your head that wasn’t from an outside source, are you using your ears to process that sound? I feel like the answer is obviously yes i just don’t understand HOW your ears process it and want answers. Any answers would help!
It’s nearly 8pm and I (22F) need to run to the store for a missing dinner ingredient but I’m already showered and in a button up PJ set. It’s Tuesday and I’m 30 hours into a 65 hour workweek- changing back into clothes genuinely sounds torturous. What I’m wondering is if people truly care. My mom always tells me it’s strange to do, but want to gather input elsewhere.
Also to note, I would not do this during the day as I’m a painfully annoying morning person who is dressed and out by 6:30a daily regardless of plans.
The consensus from this wont stop me from going in public at night with jammies on shame free. I will keep proudly repping my modal fabric sets and even a bonnet on occasion regardless of the takes. Ty!
I’ve been thinking about the oddly small changes that make routines easier to keep. Sometimes moving something into sight or cutting a task down to a few minutes does more than trying to be disciplined. What tiny shortcut ended up making a habit stick for you?
I don’t, do you?
An ITV News undercover investigation has exposed a UK church that claims that the biblical God can fix gay people of their urges. An undercover reporter was told by several pastors at Winners' Chapel in Dartford they could help stop him being gay. News reporter Paul Brand covered the investigation.
This was not completely surprising to me, that this type of practice goes on behind closed doors, but it doesn’t make watching it anymore easier. It really does bring me to have such a soft spot for the LGBTQ community - they really have had it hard, even to this very day.
I feel these types of churches who embrace conversion therapy are part of a cult and need to be exposed and stopped, before more damage is done to those who happen to be LGBTQ & Christian.
Thoughts?
I’m curious how people are actually using AI as an assistant at work or in their daily lives.
Has it genuinely made you more productive, saved you time, or improved how you work? Or is the hype bigger than the actual benefit?
If you’ve been using AI regularly, what has been genuinely useful—and is it worth getting into for someone who hasn’t tried it much?
Does anyone know how to stop my nails growing or atleast reduce them I’m getting acrylics and want them to last atleast 2 months without looking super grown out
