It been said that in canon women and girls have given greater social standing and power by the dent of being able to used IS system, but isn’t there very few of these systems in general, so realistically speaking it wouldn’t really most women’s and girls at all since it is only going to a very small number of women pilots anyway, and there is a good chance that some of these of these women wouldn’t give a crap about other women as long as they get benefits, and I would pretty much bet even the most patriarchal society are willing to overlook a few women’s as long as the rest are kept in their place, most nations are so going to bribe these women to not rock the boat or even select those who disinclined to do it.
