Severe ghosting on LOQ 15AHP10 (RTX 5050) — display issue or settings?

Hey everyone, I recently got a Lenovo LOQ 15AHP10 with an RTX 5050, and I’m noticing pretty severe ghosting, especially in Valorant.

I’ve attached a photo showing what I’m seeing. I’ve tried different display and NVIDIA settings. G-SYNC makes no major difference whether it’s enabled or disabled, and I currently have V-SYNC enabled through NVIDIA Control Panel. V-SYNC seems to fix most of the ghosting, but there’s still some noticeable ghosting left.

I’m not sure whether this is:

  • A problem with the display panel itself
  • Incorrect NVIDIA/Windows/game settings
  • Something related to refresh rate, VRR/G-SYNC, overdrive, etc.

For anyone with the same LOQ model or a similar panel, does this look like normal panel behavior, or could I have a faulty display?

Also, if there are specific NVIDIA Control Panel, Windows, or Valorant settings I should try to reduce the ghosting, I’d really appreciate the help. I’m trying to figure out whether I should return/exchange the laptop or if this is just a settings issue.
