Useless JC3 fact: The modern bus has a piece of model with its lights texture hidden within its roof. You can never see this ingame except when using a free camera
So we can now extract the jc3 map and what is going on at boom island??
Submit your clips for the JC 20th. anniversary celebration!!
Hello everyone! As you may know, the Just Cause franchise turns 20 years old this September!
I do have something very special planned, but it's unfortunately not clear if it will happen as of now
Nonetheless, another thing I want to do is a big community recap video, showcasing all the absurd things you can do in the Just Cause games!
So if you have a funny clip, screenshot, stunt video or a recording of anything hilarious that happened to you, then drop it into the anniversary-submissions forum in the Just Cause Discord or just here in the comments! You'll have time to submit content until early November this year!
Feel free to submit clips from all the games, not just JC3. Best upload videos to YouTube or Reddit and share the link
There will be more announcements in the future, but this is what I can announce now
Hope you find the time to share something cool :)
Useless JC3 fact: When you remove every town, base, etc...for some reason fences and guard rails will still be there (trees also but vegetation is separate anyways)
One of the biggest blockers for custom base and city mods in JC3 has now been cracked: custom collision! Have this hotwheels track as a taste of what's to come!
youtube.comI have never seen JC3 do this glitch ever wtf (ignore the winter mod)
youtube.comFrigo & Etcetera from the Discord made this awesome JC tribute edit, go give it a watch!
youtu.beWe could soon mod custom models into JC4! Here is a first test with just a simple cube
You boot up Just Cause 4 one day and see this, what do you do?
You can now mod this game!
Hello, I'm Luke. I've modded the Just Cause games for years now. And since this game uses an engine that came from those games, I wondered for a while now what it would take to mod this game.
And now there is a toolset for this game! It supports many useful formats and lets you edit textures, stats, text and more! I am well aware that most people playing this game probably don't care much for mods, but I think it's important, especially for abandoned games, that there is at least the possibility for player created content!
You can find the tools over on the game's Nexus mod page, along with a little example mod that lets the offroader go faster, improves its handling and gives it nice looking whitewall tires.
I invite everyone who's interested in messing around with games to give modding the game a try! The tools come with a short introduction that tell you how to set up mods, explain the file formats the tools support and how to edit them.
Is there someone who's played JC3 on two different platforms? Because judging from the steering file, it appears the steering should feel different between pc, xbox one and ps4.
Just Cause 3 Multiplayer has just gotten updated for the first time in over 8 years!
The client has gotten so many fixes, improvements and upgrades that not only make it fully functional again, they also lay the groundwork for future updates! Some more soon to come things are some of the features that were planned for the big update that never arrived.
There is now a feedback hub, so if you encounter any issues, you can report them there!
The JC3MP site site has also gotten a facelift, so go have a look!
You can find the full community post with all details here
I am looking forward for all that is to come, as well and future sessions I will host! And of course a huge thanks to meow aka magic_cookie for putting in all this work in his free time simply because I reach out to him! Absolute legend!
