Monocular microscope combo?

Tldr: Does anybody know of a combo between a monocular for viewing far objects, and a microscope for viewing close objects?

In a book ive read on avalanche education, the author talks of a $300 combo for viewing avalanche crowns and debris from a distance, but also for viewing the slow grain in fine details with the same device.

My intuition tells me a device couldn't exist because of how different the focal mechanisms are. Does anyone know of this?
