Porn is destroying my relationship
Hi everyone,
I'm 31M, my girlfriend is 25F, and we've been in a relationship for 4 years.
I'm not watching any porn since a few years because i understood it's not healthy for me and i also did it out of respect for my girlfriend, even if she never asked it.
I discovered 6 months ago that she watch porn to masturbate almost all the time and she read smut books.
It triggered in me a very strong feeling of disgust and betrayal, breaking the picture i had of her.
I don't think watching porn is cheating but it feels like it.
I don't want to control her but it's been 6 months of painful discussions about this topic and now it's either i'm accepting that she watch/read everything she wants or we're breaking up.
I'm feeling lost, and i feel like she's choosing this stuff over me.
Is it possible to find a compromise?
