
Had to stop and walk frequently. Am I starting too ambitious?
I am a heavier guy who used to be a good athlete. I am trying to get back into running. I have been running again for a few weeks, usually 2-3 miles (I got a lot of steps at work so I started with a bit long on distance). I wanted to push myself on distance today and went far (for me), but I had to stop and walk frequently.
What should I do? I don’t really have a training plan which is probably part of the problem.
I want to get weight off and get back in shape!
