Some of you already run your campaigns in Trails Weaver, the worldbuilding app I keep building solo... I just love the fact that it fits Delta Green so well 💚

Last month I finally finished something I'd dreamt of for ages - hierarchy boards, which are basically auto-layouted org charts... Initially planned as simple family trees, hahah

But to test them on DG I needed something messier than a family tree, so I built a Program.
A-Cell at the top, some case officers, four field cells, their agents, and the civilian friendlies they lean on.

I am still fairly new to DG, but I have a weird idea of using it for my SCP Foundation homebrew. Will be another stress test for my app 😂

I posted here back in the day about GM / World Building app I'd created, and the VtM crowd turned out to be one of the warmest communities I've shown Trails Weaver to. A bunch of you run your chronicles in Trails Weaver now, which still feels a bit unreal to me.

To stress test them I built a made-up domain, ~50 kindred, 7 clans.

Screenshots are the test worlds I build in while working on the app. Infinite canvas with nested cards, map with zoom levels, family trees, relationship graph. Every card opens into a full wiki page.

Answering the usual questions upfront:

- No. Wrong guess :) Not vibe coded. It would have saved me hundreds of hours though :(

- The free plan is permanent, not a trial. You can actually build something real on the free plan.

- No, there are no ads, and there will be none.

- Yes, it's subscription based, if you want to go Pro. Yes, I want people to go Pro. Yes, I want to make money out of it.

- Yes, web app only for now. An offline desktop version is planned, and it happens faster if you vote here (no money, just a signal): https://www.trailsweaver.com/desktop-app-wishlist

- Yes, there are dozens of other great tools for worldbuilding (including Obsidian!). Some do better, some do worse. A lot of those are offline & free. Mine is online & subscription based. That's my choice.
