Celebrating Mawlid is worse than celebrating birthdays. I don’t consider birthdays haraam but i consider mawlid to be bid’ah.

People Celebrating their own birthdays is better than celebrating the birthday of the prophet!! This is because when a person celebrate their own birthday, it has no religious significance and the person has not added anything into the religion. However, for the mawlid(prophet’s birthday) it is as if one is adding a new practice into the religion and this falls under bid’ah which is condemned in the religion. Allah has completed His religion and we are not allowed to add anything to it. Those who celebrate mawlid have added a new practice into the religion. For normal birthdays, people just want to eat cakes and celebrate their life and be happy with their families and friends, they have not made it part of the religion. So the one who claims birthdays are bid’ah has fallen into clear error. The one who says its haraam might have a point. Likewise the one who says it’s halal might have a point. I am personally not even convinced that birthdays are haraam!!

Why are the kuffar moral policing us on this sub, and why do the muslims have such inferiority complex?

Bro, I realized that muslims are really suffering from inferiority complex when I read that comment section. Why are you guys trying to explain yourselves to a kaffir and talking negatively about cousin marriage? What moral high ground does a drunkard Godless kaffir have over you that you justify yourselves to him/her? The only perfect answer should be “cousin marriage is allowed because God said so” end of debate. But we have muslims that are suffering from inferiority complex and would rather criticise something that has been done by muslims throughout history. All these talk about genetic diseases from cousin marriages are fake claim, because the percentage is lower than a 40 years old woman giving birth. The total genetic risk is 4 to 6% while it is 4 to 7% for a 40 year old woman, so why are they not addressing this of a 40 year old woman which is higher? Put in mind that, for a normal young unrelated couple, the risk is 2 to 3% , so first cousin marriage is just about +2 to +3% above the baseline. If this cousin marriage was practiced by the white kuffar, I swear to God these mentally colonised muslims would praise it and never demean it. So don’t ever think that they are criticising this noble marriage because of science, rather it’s because of their own desires and disgust to it. Lastly, the moderators should ban the kuffar from this sub
