Completely lost choosing a grad school

Hi, I am on track to graduate this December and I am trying to find a grad school that best suits me. I am pretty interested in moving to Chicago and doing grad school there. My major is psychology with a minor in criminal justice, and my goal is to become a juvenile detention counselor. The M.A. clinical mental health counseling programs that I have found so far that are CACREP accredited are: Adler, Concordia, NEIU, and Eastern Illinois University.

I am completely lost on which one to choose because I want one that actually teaches me stuff that I will take with me, has internship sites in locations that are similar to what I want to do, and is not insanely expensive. I also want one where I am able to do the program and work.

Just wanting to get some advice and I am also planning to go to grad school in Fall 2027!

Is Thailand safe

Hi! I am planning to go to Thailand in 2028 for Songkran. I have never been out of the country and want to get some insight into Thailand and whether it is safe for solo female travelers. I just want to get real reviews instead of TikTok, where everything is romanticized because it looks so beautiful, and I would love to go and experience the culture and food, but I want to get y'all's feedback just to be safe.

Thank you!!

First solo trip

Hi! I am 25 yrs old and I have never solo traveled before and also never been out the country, but I have dreamed of going to SK for years and now I have a chance to next year during the cherry blossom festival. My only hurdle is that i am very introverted but i want to really get out of my comfort zone and meet people (specifically girls, I’m just wanting to make some new friends) while I’m out there, so I’m not alone the whole time. Do you guys have any tips on how to meet up with other solo female travelers or girl groups while out of the country? Also I wanted to ask anyone who has been to SK, as a girl, is it safe, especially since I'll be solo?

Thank you so much!

Looking for apartment with a Rottie

Hi! I am considering moving to Evanston next year and I want to get ahead and start making some calls to different apartments but the thing is I have a Rottweiler. I have her trained and she has her certificate for graduating (idk if that could help me when calling, but I just thought I would throw that in there). Does anyone have any tips or know anywhere that allows bully breeds?

Thank you!

First solo trip to South Korea

Hi! I am 24 yr and I have never solo traveled before and also never been out the country, but I have dreamed of going to SK for years and now I have a chance to next year during the cherry blossom festival. My only hurdle is I would like to be able to venture out and meet people (specifically girls, I’m just wanting to make some new friends) while I’m out there, so I’m not alone the whole time. Do you guys have any tips on how to meet up with other solo travelers or like other groups while out the country because I’m also trying to go to Thailand at the end of next year!
