[oN] Early Daycare: Should I?
Hi everyone, I'm debating on sending my child to daycare. He will be 1 y.o. soon, stil does not get a spot in CWELCC daycare centre. For your context, I run a startup in deeptech, it's still very small and pre-revenue but we are growing, with lot of work to do to keep the business running. My emails are piled up as I cannot focus to work when my hands and head are full. Baby needs attention more and more. Cooking for the family takes time (I wish we can survive without eating sometime).
So, I'm debating of sending my child to private daycare centre. Just part-time (3 days/week) to have some uninterrupted focus days to work. But at the same time, I heard that children got sick all the time during those first daycare days. Am I paying (much more expensive) to get some time or just to get to take care of a sicked baby, and arguably, paying more for being busier?
