QUESTION PLEASE

Hello guys,

I’m curious about something, especially from lesbian women in Morocco or from Muslim backgrounds.

I’ve noticed that some women seem hesitant or even completely unwilling to date a woman who wears the hijab. I’m trying to understand why.

Is it because they assume that a hijabi woman is probably straight, very religious, or not actually comfortable with being in a relationship with another woman? Or is it because they worry that religion, family, or social expectations would make the relationship too complicated?

I’m specifically talking about women who are attracted to women and are open to dating other women. What would make you hesitate to date a hijabi lesbian?

And for those who are hijabi lesbians themselves: have you experienced people rejecting you specifically because you wear the hijab? How do you navigate dating while keeping your hijab?

I’m asking and not trying to judge anyone. I’d really like to understand the different perspectives, especially from people living in Morocco or in similar cultural environments.
