I made an Obsidian plug-in for Go notes!

It's called Kifu! (Community page, GitHub).

I wanted to take notes that looked like positions in a go book, so that's what I made! It's fully featured for whole-board games, local positions, and problems.

All features:

  1. Interactive boards (obviously) with an SGF-style editor
  2. A new Base specifically for these boards
  3. Importing games & problems from various sites
  4. Embedding games & problems from various sites

Here's the editor:

And some examples:

The custom kifu base:

I had some dissatisfaction with existing plugins, from how they looked, to how they impacted performance. This is my take on it, as performant and as elegant as possible. Any feedback is appreciated!

Not shown is coordinates, which can be turned on in settings, and other sizes of board, which are also available.

Disclaimer:
This plugin was developed with the Claude AI primarily. If you only want to use human-programmed plugins, I don't want to deceive you, and you should avoid this one.
