Was just trying to fill up my Pokédex some more with water types when this guy shows up?!

My old record was hatching a shiny feebas in two eggs. I’m going to count this as a first encounter shiny ^_^

Onto phase 14 😪

I screamed so loud my girl got mad at me 😂😂😂 as u can see I was well prepared for the day that this shiny abra would return . This fire red has found abra in two phases in a row the last I failed because I was just in this grass trying to perfect charmeleons (now Charizard) special attack evs perfected .. losing that abra made me change my whole game plan . I decided to get serious on my shiny bulbasuar hunt so I had more fast sleep powder mons .. lately I been actually loving butterfree with its compound eye’s ability! Almost never misses tbh .. anyways I jus got shiny bulb after owning leaf green for a year and now I can switch my focus to dratini for game corner since we got redemption on the wild abra !!!! Shiny hunting is truelly a journey .. without the long struggles there’s no story to tell .. all the emotions u feel along the way create a narrative you can share .. love u guys let’s keep grinding 🥹‼️‼️‼️

I've been shiny hunting White-Striped Basculin, and it kept giving me NOTHING BUT FEMALES.
Seriously, is the 50/50 gender ratio even real?? I was convinced my game was bugged lol
But after 3 straight days of pure grinding, the 6th shiny finally rolled male!

This method has always been my favorite, my first and only other time was a cyndaquil 10+ years ago, here’s hoping the next one is chikorita in another 10 years!

I wasn't even trying for shinies. I was going for a Professor Oak Challenge and got one!

Not counting Gen2 's red Gyarados a looooong time ago, I hatched 2 shinies within 1 hour of interval : Evvee and Ralts.

Found this after 6228 encounters!

First ever shiny shadow for me. Note this is a part of a nuzlocke where I’m transferring pokemon between Ruby and colosseum so that’s why I have pokemon you can’t find in Colo at this part of the game. Super stoked to have found it. Also not all of those encounters were in Colo but I was keeping a running total between the games until I found another shiny to go with my marshtomp. I decided to send it and commit to croconaw and I’m glad I did since I now have all 3 water starters in gen 3 games.

My other was Chikorita! This one took about 8 months to do!

my second ever 8192 hunt! took me a little over 3 months of off and on hunting while rewatching stranger things (found during the s4 finale if anyone cares) cannot believe i can finally start my badge quest :D

Literally predicted this might happen.. my oddish didn’t have sleep powder yet either .. I was just tryna ev train my freakin charmeleon man this actually stabbed me right in the heart💔

Found this beautiful little chicken today after a month (or more?) of looking for it, way under odds which is awesome given the fact that this is my first ever successful full odds shiny hunt.
It’s got a Lax nature which isn’t the best, but at least it does not lower its Special Attack nor its Speed so it could have been worse.
Caught it in Poké Ball. I look forward to hunting the other legendaries in this game!
