Om-popular opinion:

I would like to go on record as stating that Small Gods is in fact, my favorite Discworld book.
I have given it due consideration. Weighing all evidence and admitting certain biases including:

  1. it was my first and
  2. it was my most recent (after having completed the whole series including Shepherds Crown for the first time, just recently and needing a comfort read- it was the first I turned to

My argument is that the last three chapters are probably some of the best writing ever and that there are more words to live by, wrapped up in those few pages, than in all the philosophical and religious books of all the ages.

Painting progress… or not! lol

So, I added Blind Lo and Death. They aren’t finished yet, and neither is Teppic (personally Pyramids is one of my favorites and I had a hard time picking between poor Teppic in all his ceremonial garb, or the virtue headed god who couldn’t sell his discounted marble statue).
I need to add a bunch of stuff, like floating eyes, wine cups, dice, and then I had this idea that I want a bronze fish with rincewind hanging off the back and man! I had to put it aside because actual paid art has a deadline and I’ve got to get to it. lol
I feel like George Lucas, only I’m waiting for my skills to improve- not the technology. 😂
Anyway, one day, I will have a finished painting to share. :)
(I’m saving the special god, in the center, for last. Got to do that one just right)
