Master Class was truly a MASTERCLASS 👏
Watched Master Class today and it was absolutely phenomenal.
At first I was skeptical about the setting when I was told the entire play would be taking place in just one room. But omL did the actors EAT. It was like Menchu manifested the spirit of Maria Callas, embodying her as the diva she is while engaging both the fictional actors and irl audience, teaching us what singing and acting are truly about. The play was truly an immersive experience where I learned about opera while laughing with the crowd every other minute or so. Education should be entertaining and meaningful—exactly as Master Class masterfully demonstrates.
If you have remotely any interest in opera, singing, or acting I urge you to check it out. Honestly, even if you don’t, still check it out and you will learn to appreciate it—even if only a little. Callas says doesn’t like the terms singing or acting but I say there is plenty to learn just by watching the magnificent actors themselves. Contemplating watching it again to see my diva GOAT. Brava La Divina indeed👏
