Trivia tonight

Who has trivia tonight in the city? I don't have Instagram so I can't scour local business socials.

I've done the Point Tavern and I'm all set with that one

Upper east side visit (and a bonus)

I visited a friend for my birthday, stayed with her on the upper east side for a few days, and she showed me around her hood. I love your neighborhood, it feels very lived in. Thanks for the hospitality!

Easton's beach

Hey y'all, I usually take a bus from Providence to Newport and go to the beach. I love Easton's but more often than not it has a shit ton of red seaweed. Are there certain weather conditions, times and tides I could look out for so I don't waste my time going and swimming in the red stuff? Thanks!

Good Gravel cycling spots in New England, USA

What the title says! I'm watching lots of amazing videos on youtube of gravel cycling around the country and around the globe, but not much here in New England. Anyone know of any great spots?

Guerilla art marketing for a better Providence

Now I'm not an artist (well I take photos) but I just thought of an idea where we make art and imagine a Providence with amazing public transportation, like images distributed throughout the city of Providence with light rail, or images of parking lots we all know and replacing them with housing. It may seem silly, but I think if more of us saw what could be there'd be more of a push for these types of things. Imagine if we just slammed images like these around everywhere, it would get people thinking.

Random thought, I don't have my journal and I wanted to write this down somewhere
