A little more of this little rooster getting used to his new body
After TF, you may face serious problems in everyday life due to the new anatomy that you are not yet accustomed to!
I know that this is illegal in the USA, but unfortunately there are countries in the world other than the USA and I live in one of them, so I did not break anything!!!!!
I used SLA 3D printing, silicone molds on plastic models and electrolytic copper build-up on the inside of the silicone mold. After I had the copper shell of the front side of each element of the medal, I poured molten tin and lead inside to fill the hollow and increase the mass and strength of the product.
The result was a medal of honor of the American Civil War type.
I colored the ribbon with markers. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the original or even a similar ribbon, so all I could do was use markers.
The family also keeps the medals themselves, all but the medal on the lower right ribbon. Can anyone help identify it?
Please excuse me if this post is too off-topic for this subreddit.
I'm not from the US, but I really enjoy American history, especially the Civil War. I'm also very interested in military medals.
So I designed the model myself and using electroforming and 3D printing I made a replica of the medal of honor.
The quality is so-so to be honest, but I really like the result.
Upd.: Unfortunately, there are other countries in the world besides the United States, and I live in one of them. I know that making copies of MOН is illegal in the US, but in my country it is legal.
