I had no space and just got the helmet/cap, so on it goes (also didnt have the right filter). Looks preatty cool tho and reminds me of the MM1
First and foremost I apologize if this is breaking rules. I used to work at Dragonmans and helped out with the museum. I’ve gotten enough questions about the museum and him that I figured I’d make this post. Feel free to AMA about it.
I got some pictures from last time I was there. Mostly the German room, since that’s most popular, and some of the Japanese. The place is 78k sq feet so this is just some. If there’s anything people want to see specifically, I am in touch with some employees still and can get pictures.
I am a history buff but by no means an authenticater, but even I saw some stuff that just seemed too good. So you pros, call it out if you see it. I did get shots of the “SS bodyguard belt buckle gun” and the Zyklon canisters but they didn’t show off the cyanide pill
I know that this is illegal in the USA, but unfortunately there are countries in the world other than the USA and I live in one of them, so I did not break anything!!!!!
I used SLA 3D printing, silicone molds on plastic models and electrolytic copper build-up on the inside of the silicone mold. After I had the copper shell of the front side of each element of the medal, I poured molten tin and lead inside to fill the hollow and increase the mass and strength of the product.
The result was a medal of honor of the American Civil War type.
I colored the ribbon with markers. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the original or even a similar ribbon, so all I could do was use markers.
yo everyone this helmet is fake bc the decal is reproupductiin and the split pins aren’t original beware of it sd its being posted online and being sold as original

Found in a small antique shop in Poland along with a few others. Cannot tell whether it’s a replica or legit. Any help would be greatly appreciated with any of them!
